I remember you saying you go to antique fairs. I would rather have all my teeth root filled and then extracted, without aesthetics, than go and look at old furniture. I find after a stressful Work week, some DIY is therapeutic.

Great machines but suction bag on the two times I used them were as good as an ashtray on a motorcycle. Is that oak flooring?


The floor you can see is yes. Did that years back using the same kit, the whole ground floor has it. Was a ****er, proper hard work to get it all smooth and level.

Will be having it done again by a specialist but not till next year, got other **** to do first.

The floor I'm doing Sunday is just standard floor boards, not sure what the wood is. Looks like pine I think?
