Dont remeber Chico diving for a penalty .swan-m...i know most didnt like Chicos antics , but like I say I dont remenber to many complainig about Gomez.
Plenty of fans complained about Gomez, Roof. It was the one part of his game that most fans disliked and eventually he listened. Diving is diving, penalty or not and you can't possibly condone it. Think you're trying to defend the indefensible just because Chico was our player.
I dont like hipocracy, no matter where I see it .Cheating is footballs biggest demise, it infests all aspects of the game . . Cheating is taught as part of the game , from raising your hand to sway a call to diving to secure a spot kick and most in between ....and we are no different tham amy other team.Either all teams representative sit together to change it or suck it up when you get a bad call like every other tesm
By 'suck it up' I think you mean just accept meekly that we were robbed of the points because of a cheat? No. Just no. Monk realises that if his own players cheat it pulls the rug from under him when he rightly complains about this blight on our game. Speaks volumes he hasn't been fined, at least not yet. What's the delay, FA?
Monk was more worried about being under emmence pressure from dropping points than the event itself. When I say "" suck it up"" ....i mean all teams and managers until we can all change it together
Apparently Monk has to "answer" to the FA for his comments on Monday. It seems to me that they are taking this a little slower than they have typically done with commentary from managers on officiating etc. It will be interesting to see what their response will be and whether they choose to make an example of Monk or have some sympathy for his comments but slap his wrist to avoid a free-for-all with other managers.
I think the FA will be lenient given Monks new Managerial status, and we as a club have given the Premier league three managers already, and are well respected club, so I'm not that worried............
