Banner at Stamford bridge. Anyone else find this utterly paradoxical and ironic? Surely the fans are the ones causing the division and disunity at the moment with their pathetic banners and chants. What good does it do? Rafa has already said he is leaving. Surely supporting their team with their plastic flags would be more worthwhile? 4th is slipping away after all.....

If not us, then I'd love to see two of Arsenal, Tottenham & Everton finish above them <laugh>

Seeing their fans seething because they'd failed to finish in the top 4 would be hilarious.

The whole situation and the supporters reaction has become very childish. Chelsea supporters have a lot in common with the 5 year old in the supermarket screaming and stamping their feet to absolutely no effect whatsoever.

They're entitled brats. Too long suckling at the teat of their sugar daddy. They should be booing their owner, Rafa has done nothing wrong. I'd love them to miss out on CL.

All week they have been demanding that they have the right to demonstrate against Rafa and that they will continue. Well it seems strangely quiet in the first 10 minutes. So they don't even have the courage of their convictions.

I imagine what they mean by that clumsily worded banner is that they don't want someone who causes divisions amongst their ranks. They want someone they can all get behind.
No matter how many times you say it though, they won't see that the divisive element is introduced by Abramovich, and it's pointless blaming Rafa- he's only doing the job he was hired to do.

It's not the banner saint. If you visit their board you would see just how vitriolic they are against the man. Note not what he has done as manager of Chelsea but at the man himself. They then claim that they will continue to 'protest' until Rafa is removed - no matter what the consequences. Well today they had their chance. Like all naughty children they finally understood that there was no point. Now either they have learnt from their experience (though I doubt it) or they are actually just totally gutless (which is par for the course). They won't confront their owner who is responsible but like most cowards they'll attack the easiest target.
