****ing hell do you eat like this every night?

Slow cooked well seasoned pork belly, with all the usual Sunday roast accompaniments, including apple sauce, this evening, paired with a meaty Nero D’Avola from Puglia.

I’m going to have to go for a jog, the first for many years, tomorrow.

I am an absolute bon viviour G.
    You escaped that Friday night.
It’s either feast or famine with me.
I do the cooking Fri to Sun
    Back to rye bread tomorrow:-(

Careful with your jogging- no one wants you panting next to them.
Will be back on thread on Friday- I’ll have to think of something special.
Am contemplating good old fashioned Scampi and home made chips.

Tonight, I’m having a census taker with some fava beans. Just trying to work out what to wash it down with.

Tonight’s feast, Mexican sweet potatoes and chicken wings. Marinaded in olive oil, brown sugar, lime juice and zest, chilli flakes, fresh chilli, chipotle concentrate, smoked paprika. Garnished with coriander and lemon slices (ran out of lime) served with Greek yoghurt with lime and coriander. A joint effort between my daughter and myself, which was fun. Accompanied by Bitburger pilsner.

Tonight we will be mostly eating a massive chicken casserole, including carrots, parsnips, leeks, and best of all proper suet dumplings. Accompanied by a nice Fiano. Just the smell is making my mouth water.
