My wife did her dissertation on football hooliganism and would have loved to have had the Internet to carry out her research. She had to travel the country with a Stanley knife to get her questionnaires completed.

Most women have one of those. I'm not sure if they're born with it or if they learn it in some clandestine school.

I remember when I did my dissertation on the 'changing concepts of community and a football club'
I did a case study of Sheffield United (as I was a student there) and getting their lot do help me in a questionnaire was a struggle
though to be fair to them it was a dreadful dissertation subject and the club was going through a meltdown and another relegation so I was delighted to have scraped through it and still finish with a 2:1

My A Level Geography project was 'what impact does a Football Club have on the local community' but I must confess I filled out every single questionnaire myself so Luke I admire your efforts and I'm sure your work will be a lot better than my meagre attempt!
