Roller that was real passion and I salute you Sir. If only the management team and players of any club, not just ours shared the passion and commitment of its fans. You know my views on Mr. Taarabt and Harry should know better. Time for both to go asap!
I think that's all a bit of a smokescreen Beth. He probably did walk out and he shouldn't have, but as I've said elsewhere, it happens everywhere all the time. It's no big deal and at least shows that he wanted to be involved. Harry used it as an excuse to have a go. Taarabt was wrong to reply in public. They both got it wrong. It should all have stayed in-house.
Disgusted and ashamed that the club we love can destroy themselves simply due to two over-sized egos. This whole tit-for-tat saga is damaging and should have been resolved behind closed doors. There was never any doubt in many people's mind that Harry and Adel would never get on, I just wish they would leave their differences on the training pitch. Both as bad as each other and despite TF's statement I fear this may get uglier before IT gets concluded. Someone in the squad close to Adel needs to get him to prove that he is better as a showman rather petulant child, as clearly he is challenging Harry's authority. Not sure which one should go first, but if we continue to prop up the table, it may be Harry that tests TF's resilience.
Roller, thanks, that was a top post. I know we all have our opinions on the manager, the club and the players. I will put my hands up and say that I have the same frustrations and I also am definitely not an expert. I think most of us can agree with what you have written. Top stuff!
Roller - spot on. There's a time to speak your mind and in front of the cameras is not it. I do find it amusing though that Redknapp's most constant excuse for the way HIS team plays is to blame the one player HE least wants playing for him. Taarabt's response is understandable but inexcusable.
With respect to the OP Roller, Im totally with you on this one I honestly couldnt care if w sacked them both right now. I'll expect more p-taking about our club this week across facebook then Dump them both and show a bit of spine
You speak for me too Roller. Why can't it be about QPR? Why does always have to be about individuals? Those are the questions TF have to resolve. The answer is easy though, don't recruit pricks, both playing and coaching vise.
I am for once delighted to be away and checking in on all this crap infrequently. Roller's post spot on, but to be honest I'm losing interest in this poorly scripted soap opera where everyone behaves badly and no one ever learns. A decent story needs a moral, can't find one in this bollocks.
This is probably the finest sentence written about this dispiriting debacle. The rest of your post wasn't too bad either.
I disagree entirely, this spat has been virtually the only oasis of entertainment we've had in a desert of mind-numbing boredom both on and off the field since the season started. Pity they didn't go at it hammer and tongs a bit earlier. ...Apart from Sunday of course!
I feel your frustration mate. I'm ready to explode at this stage. Just make sure you have the evening off at the first home game after Harry is gone, because the drinks are on me.
It had to come out. Far from the first time Harry has been lying about Adel. And as it wasn't the first time he's done it, Adel was correct to respond - we needed to hear his side of all this. Harry has lost it, his comment about Sir Les' s job, his abject performances on the pitch and now this must surely leave TF very close to moving him out. Our efforts Sunday may have gives him another game or 2, but if not repeated surely he will go. Ironically if he uses Adel now, who looks and needs to be finally getting fit, he might save Harrys job.
Harry has lost it, his comment about Sir Les' s job, his abject performances on the pitch and now this must surely leave TF very close to moving him out. Our efforts Sunday may have gives him another game or 2. Don't forget the pathetic excuses about our players not being fit. You're point about Sundays performance is spot on. I couldn't help thinking at the time that in many ways, our improved performance against Liverpool would work against us by TF giving Harry more time.
Great thing about this forum is we are all able to let off steam What a ride it is at times to be QPR We have had splits over theories re players and managers and to be fair it needed a real blow up re Harold and Taarabt and at last we got it Harold has been found out big style and Taraabt has shown our fans he does care and wants to play or else he wouldn't of done what he did? The facts are there and the wounds open there is no hiding places now As I said let's see how Harold reacts now ... IMO he has a chance to really do his job properly.... As do all the players It's also interesting to see how we all take in the facts now as any speculation has been laid bare I think SB has a point that a moral should surface after all of this somewhere If we continue to get disgusted after this then the club isn't being run correctly ... Gauge QPR to any other football club at the moment ?
Great opening post Roller, agree totally with that. So sick of the constant shenanigans (what a great word that is!! ) surrounding our team.....been going on for years....why can't we just be a normal football team ffs!!?? Oh and I think it's great that we have Adel's agent as a member on this board
Stop insulting people for their opinions. Currently people like you disgust me as you have no balance in your views and you where's your evidence he has been training hard. I think both are a shambles. Harry for using old excuses. If a player isn't teasing that's his responsibility and as for Adel he has wanted away way before Harry came in. Adel only loves Adel.
It's about time that some heads were knocked together, we are just generating more negative publicity adding to the Training Ground and New Stadium fiasco. If TF doesn't do it, then the CEO should be telling everyone to tow the line, sort out any differneces in private but get it sorted once and for all. Maybe it's time for some of the senior pros at the club to take Adel to one side and tell him what exactly he needs to do to become the superstar that he thinks he is......
