A few times a season I dont get to see the result tilla few hours after. Got the result 1012 hours today and totally disgusted with the result and the team selection...is there excuses? I think the whole set up at AG at the moment stinks...we need a new manager and a new team.................

WILL a season ticket in Div 1 cost a lot less or just a little less?<grr> <grr>
 
I think there is something not right down the gate at the moment and its been gradually coming to this for a couple of years, The manager is not to blame has not really had huge backing, Hope he actually stays which ever league we are in.
 
Let's face it this season has been a write off since the opening day! I can only hope we time a run of form just right to keep our heads above water.

DM is not to blame and cannot be judged until next season when most of the ****e we have are gone and he brings in his own personnel.

If we are in League One I would expect a minimum of top 6 by Xmas and if we are still in the CCC I would expect at least mid-table with no threat of the drop. That's my criteria for DM to achieve and I think he has more than enough to achieve either aim.

I would be very surprised if the players who leave in the summer find another Championship club.

Reality is the 1982 players were all heroes and the ones of today are a shower of sh_t
Let us not forget, the team of 1975 were struggling just like these. The difference was we had brilliant youngsters waiting to come through ie Collier, Ritchie, Whitehead, Tainton, with some great young signings thanx to AD ie Gow, Cheese, Mann, Gillies etc.
This time we have no investment in a youth system to speak of, and the cupboard is bare
 
JGF I'm confused you come up with statistics and now this about getting rid of the manager! But what do you do at weekends?
Where ever I am I always keep an eye on the score when it happens not check the next day. And I bet every other fan is the same on here!

I'm still thinking you are either KM or maybe his love child ;) but Shiny asked you before, where do you go?
 
prem this time last season we were on our way to safety ( inactual fact were never never really in danger of going down after the short burst of victories that gave us breathing space before the end of Feb )

There was a whole crusade of people calling for a change I was nt really one of them. BUT the basis of their crusade was we needed someone to get the new season off to a good start and not finish up2011/2012 like 2010/11. WE started bad and made the right move new manager, ( the cries for blood being answered) and whilst I stand by conviction of, like quite a few, "OK so if we go into Div 1 and re build so be it" certain criteria change and so does opinions with it.

Had we just mosied along in the bottom 2 picking up the odd points as we went, losing by the odd goal but seeing a progression toward a better future then div 1 would have been the bitter pill to swallow.

WHAT HAPPENED WAS we strung a few good results together, and the other teams around us played crap and were out of it, MAKE NO BONES ABOUT IT now though, on paper we are again in the bottom 3 but more closely attached to the teams around us point wise, and result wise playing the worst games of the last 5 years.

WE ARE -27 YES THATS RIGHT MINUS TWENTY SEVEN GOALS COMPARED TO GOALS SCORED THAT IS ONLY 1 GOAL LESS THAN WE SCORED THAT IS DISGUSTING

3-0 WOW HOW MANY TEAMS CAN BOAST THEY HAVE CONCEEDED 3-0 AS MANY AS WE HAVE

I have been very patient in the past few seasons in giving support to BCFC AND THE MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE from owner downwards. I dont think the board need to be or will be changed but I have considerable reservations about the manager and the team at this moment in time. If look at and compare some of the team selections and substitutions we have seen similar before......WOW WE PLAY WELL FOR ABOUT 15 MINS OR SO and lose 3-0 fantastic . Often I have said ( as do other pundits)on here get 2 goals and the oppo has little chance, indeed get 2 goals and be happy to defend ..

Our First 28 games lost 5 by 2 goals Last 6 games lost by 5

9 games conceeded 3 or more 5 of them in last month !

last 10 games W 2 D 1 Lost 7 (by 17 goals )F 5 Against 22
first 10 games W 1 D 3 Lost 6 (by 10 goals) F 9 A 19
First 10 in charge W 4 D 3 Lost 3 ( by plus 4 ) F 13 A 9

LAST 22 W 7 D 4 Lost 11 F 19 A 32 AVE POINTS = 1.14 = 52 POINT SEASON is there hope ...I HOPE SO

FOR THOSE THAT SAY THE MANGER IS NOT TO BLAME WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE HE PICKS THE TEAM THE PLAYERS AND THE WAY WE PLAY, THE PLAYERS WHETHER GOOD OR BAD PERFORM TO HOW THEY ARE TOLD TOO MAKES THE SUBS AND CALLS THE SHOTS 4-4-2 3-4-3 3-5-2 OR WHATEVER........

OH YES " A POOR SECOND" LIKE HOW MANY OTHER TEAMS THAN THE WINNER WERE PLAYING??
 
£30 for a ticket is pathetic and will be if it's that in League 1, but I'll still be going relegated or not
 
10 or so paragraphs giving your current opinion of our plight, fair enough, quite factual some of it..

But you didn't answer the questions, Where do you go at weekends? and What would your team selection of been?

I am baffled by your attitude, Keith Millen who was largely to blame for this mess but was beyond criticism to you, but DM who inherited this mess and the complete lack of confidence it brings with it, you find easy to criticise?

PLEASE EXPLAIN IN CAPITALS IN CASE I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND..

I cant really say, no, I'll be positive, I cant say, sorry. I am unable to give clues either.

Like comments #9 we had it and since then we have lost it. Believe me I have posted the "better" statistics ..for example take away his first 10 results!!!!!


KM is history, like I have always said give a fair chance...I was beginning to jump ship before Blackpool but would have still gone another 2 games...he did his best and saved us a couple of times, time ran out though..ours is running now!!

WE really need to beat Leicster...and be careful of yellow cards...even a red one might not be unlikely the way we are playing..stressed and without self restraint..........

However, the team, I would have started Stead and Pitters and had Kilks as a sub.... OK not too different but changes the shape.

then I would ask the question WHY? and who is responsible for them getting it back, or losing it...the ones playing who were part of his successful first 10 games and the new additions added by Derek made up the squad on Sat and the previous 6 games, we have lost 6 and drawn 1!!!

BCFC glad to hear it, probably be buy 3 get 1 free!
 
I really worry about the state of mind of some 'football' fans sometimes. Maybe the 'instant' success of cash injected clubs like man city have made it worse, and seeing managers who gave done a pretty good job (aka qpr, Sheffield wednesday) still get fired.

Although we would all love to see City in the Premiership (or atleast survive relegation) lets not forget why we first started supporting them in the first place! Surely it wasn't because of our great team in 1908/09?!

From my experience, City fans seem quieter, and less supportive than they did 15 years ago when we were in old division 3. Maybe some 'fans' should look at themselves and what they could do, before pointing the finger at a manager who's only been in the job for 5 minutes and obviously had trouble attracting good players to a team who 'may' get relegated in a few months.
 
Millen gave us a ****e squad and a terrible preseason. We were appalling in the first 10 games. We are marginally better under Del...

your brave putting a stat quote up on JGF thread especially against Millen (still think there is a connection between him and Millen)
 
NO connection, and an interesting stat that..

Amazing though isnt it ,a good old fashioned Rant and we go and win...........mind you Derek isnt off the hook yet he will need to keep his act together one swallow does not a summer make and we want a ............ G O O D summer dont we!
