Apologies Batman. beginning to think I overestimated us. I always knew we were poor in midfield but thought we'd have enough to scrape results and win the league. Don't rule out Chelsea yet.
No I dont. Everything I said about them is true. I call it as I see it. Why would I lie just to show respect to teams that dont deserve it. 2 of those teams are ****ing god awful and the other is plain average. We should have won every game in that group stage. We didnt. I dont understand why everyone is saying its some sort of acheivement to be in the last 16 of the champions league for us this year, we had the easiest group possible, it would have been a disgrace had we not qualified. Of course were going to go through playing championship and league league 1 standard teams.
Were not beating all of those 19 teams though are we? Drawn with about ten of them.
Batmanu, in a way, sums up my point. We haven't the flair players such as Fabregas in our side, But we do have efficient, workers who are disciplined. They rarely dwell on the ball, prefering feeding our flair players further up.
The 0-0 game against Rangers, for example, highlights our need for a creative, passer type midfielder. One of those to sit alongside our workers.

I'm Not. it is poor, and lacks creativity and movement to balance with our work-rate.

In terms of looking to win the league, and in terms of sitting on your hands and saying you're happy with what you have, it is. It really is. They aren't capable of keeping the ball off any other top flight team and that makes them (relatively) crap.
Yeah quality of the league isnt great this year, thats been accepted by many fans of many clubs.

Chelsea have a considerable gap to make up to both us and Arsenal before i get too woried about them.
Remember the start of the season woth chelsea winning 6 nil every game. They were invincible title certaintys then too. look how that turned out.
Barcelona are the best, tehrefore the benchmark. In comparrison, its fully blown crap. Lord help us if we meet them in the champions league. Hopefully they will have an off day, we might only lose 2-0. If not we will get bleeping smashed.
We could have essien, Sneidjer and fabregas in our midfield, and we still would lose.
Might spending Madrid lost 5-0. So Ozil, Di maria and Xavi Alonso must be Crap?

If you are expecting us to rival Barcelona then you are mistaken.
It isn't. But Chelsea are going to sweep up points like your finest Dyson. We just have to hold them up because we've made no effort to improve upon our crap midfield and we still have to play Chelsea twice. They will win it and when they do, no one will take this value nonsense seriously any longer.
