Rockstar Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he is battling Parkinson's disease. So many bad diseases out there..Some more common than others. Cancers are still the biggest ****s. But so many are out there. And they all suck.
I think I've said before, some guy was getting pretty close to treatment for Parkisons, it all stemmed (no pun intended) from the Dolly the Sheep creation. Also the scientist who perfected cloning, has got parkinson's himself now as a cruel twist of fate.

I watched a documentary of Dr Tilo Kunath. It actually showed him cure Parkinsons BUT what happened was the decease attacked the healthy replacement cells, so it was short lived. So now he's got to work on how to stop them from attacking replacements cells. It's all something to do with the back of your skull/neck...something that is formed in that part of the brain is killed off in Parkinsons, which causes the symptoms that you see in a sufferer.
Is that what Ali had? I've just seen my Nan die through Dementia. Then in a blink off an eye, my Mum and Dad are failing. I don't want no pity, My mum has always been weak, 100%dependent on tablets.Whereas my my was a miner, strong as an ox, now he can barely walk the stairs to my flat.
thats where I first heard of Parkinson's, so I am sure he did have it. Last time I saw Ali on TV was when he helped carry the Olympic flag in London. He needed help walking, if I remember correctly?
See this is one of my arguments about increasing the pension age, although it will be private pensions only in the future generations - is that people might live longer but they will not necessarily be any more able bodied, and age takes its toll.
Completely agree, you've no idea how your health will be as you get older. Personally I'm putting money away so that I can retire when I want to.
I don't think they are raising the pension age because people want to work longer - more so that they can collect more contributions and payout less. Us living longer has ****ed the whole scheme up.
Is right. The state pension has a deficit of circa £4TR and combined with an ageing population the maths don’t work.
