Al Gore was an ideologue too. He also formed an opinion before checking facts and then Only selected facts that best agreed with him.
 
MIlk I just want to make it clear, I have no problem with people of any nationality. I have friends from all over the world from UK to Australia.

My issue is with governments. Almost every government on earth is made up of pathalogical liars who are in the pockets of corporations and bankers.
What's not to love :D

Seeing as you were going to reply, this emotionally driven comment was not needed. No one has ever shown me any source to disprove any of the main arguments I have been making, ever. There are details I have got wrong that everyone jumps on that actually does not effect the central claims, and they focus on those, cos by that logic, if one aspect is incorrect then it all must be, it's how trolls work.

No, an expert is an expert in subject matter in this context, I am not an expert because how can you be an expert by reading the work of experts in a field.
There is a big difference between knowing information and being able to apply it, to use it to create something new.

Expert is a relative term, it means nothing. It denotes authority and it is true that the rational logical humble opinion of 1 individual is more important than the authority of 1000 experts.

So see what ALL the "experts" say as well as opinions and works of non experts and make up your own mind, not just "make up your mind"

This is where you fall down, lets take Climate change, who are these experts? Do you know? if not then how can you claim that? because the media said they all agree? Do you not see the disconnect there?

I really do study this climate change, have read all reports, and the work of many other credible people, just cos they dont agree with a perceived majority it doesn't mean they are wrong.

Now some chronology to shut you up. From 1985 to 2010 I believed in man mad global warming 100%
Then I started researching.

So I strongly disagree.

When you say I disagree with the experts, you are using language there to muddy the waters, because you don't actually say who are the experts whislt relegating the "experts" that don;t agree, off the top of my head, Richard Lindzen, MIT Climate scientist who has publidhed hundreds of climate science papers. Judith Curry, another well known climate scientist. Very disginguished people who say it is actually not true. They are hardly alone either. I only provide the data on everything from sea levels to temp records and show how NASA have alterted the data several times.

So you are saying the "experts" are the ones who you agree with? hmmm?

There is no science to date that shows 2 degrees warming is bad, yet look at the hysteria created.

That's why politicians become politicians. You don't become a politician and enter government service unless you want to hold power over someone else.

It's why anyone he wants to rule probably shouldn't.

It's also why I think government should have at least one major body that is chosen Athenian-style. Like a jury. Selected at random from eligible citizens. (Any presidential type role should not be random)

Eligible being adult age, not currently incarcerated, able to pass a very simple test (just know how the government is organised) and a rich white male... (that rich white male bit was a joke)



Yes. You'll get weirdos in office but they represent the country too. You'll even get conspiracy theorists in office... But a few can't do too much damage :p. The idea is you pick a large enough sample to represent the country so that all views , even weird ones, get representation.

American Democracy is flawed because it has become a corpocracy where special interest groups have all the power by funding people who back them.

British democracy is flawed because of hereditary peers for one.

Russian democracy is flawed because "Chechen terrorists" kill you if you oppose Putin and government controls the media.

French democracy has too many French people.


It's all flawed. Some more than others.(France).

Heres a conspiracy for ye all and im not even joking.

The Republic of Ireland is not in fact a Republic at all.

The 26 counties or "Republic" is still under British control.

In 1916 when the easter rising occured the rebels were fighting for independence. That failed but set in motion the War of Independence and the first Dail Eireann (irish parliament) was convened. Anyway long story short Collins went to England signed away the north and also his death warrant. Saorstat na hEireann( irish freestate) was formed in the 26 counties.

A new Dail Eireann was set up in its current home and the Charade of independence has been played out ever since.

Its why we still have a Royal College of Surgeons, Still have laws dating back to British rule, Still have Lord Mayors.

Google this **** Ireland never gained full independence.

I recently met Pele, so that was the most star struck I've ever been, let alone this season. A friend of mine is his commercial agent so he's always telling me about him although he's a hard man to meet, as you can imagine. But out of the blue recently, my friend called and asked if I wanted to say hello because he had a few hours free. That's a question which has one answer, so I drove down to a hotel and met a living legend

Seriously, get a dog and go for a daily walk. There is no recreational drug nor substance that comes anywhere near it for peace of mind and, completely understimated, fresh air. And with a dog you get to realise that consciousness is not unique to humans.
