Looks like a very poor signing, Though injuries have played a part.

Until i have at least seen him play for us i cant pass judgement. Will i ever see him play for us though ?

In fairness wasn't he first team at Palace for the last 2 seasons?

It's been a disaster and there's bad luck in that, but he was out of shape and overweight when he arrived. That is not the attitude of a professional sportsman and that sloppy approach to his fitness will surely have increased his potential for injury.
Turning up a fat bastard doesn't suggest he was exactly busting a gut to make a good impression at his new club and probably just sees us a good final payday. I'd hate to see what we've signed up to contract wise as we got him for 'free'.........

as we got him for 'free'.........

That's what was reported and it was also said Palace wanted him to stay.

I wonder if that was more silky agent's talk. I also wonder if he was carrying a problem which our medics didn't see.

I saw him at Yeovil. He looked physically if not match fit. The most noticeable feature for me was his poor passing although not necessarily unexpected in a first game for a new side. I think there were international clearance issues hence the delay in his signing being confirmed after agreeing to join us on 12th June. I could be wrong but I don't think he played on the pre-season tour as a result of the clearance issues.

P.S. He turns 30 on 24th November. I won't be sending him a card!!!!!
