Yeah, Drogba was on one hell of a diving mission that night. Great player but a huge cheat.

I don't think any disrespect was intended. We have a lot of immature Arsenal fans on here and when you combine that with the annonymity offerred by the internet, accepting defeat and victory gracefully is not going to be prominent.

On the other hand. I think the refereeing was again sub-standard. I hated the way the ref called the game. I blame the referee for Sagna's broken leg, because I do thing the Norwich player left his foot in, but equally there was some rough stuff the other way, all caused because the ref didn't do his job. We have unfortunately seen it too many times this season, so perhaps you can forgive us. How many broken legs do Arsenal have to suffer before people realize that this has to stop!

"Just unlucky" is really defying my belief.

Norwich can afford to play on or two rough games a season and shrug it off. More than half the games Arsenal play, the other team wants to play "robustly". it takes it toll on the players and the referees stand by, because they think it is entertaining. Unfortunately, towards the end of the season their bodies completely battered by these games our players start to wilt and our worthless fickle fans blame them for it, and accuse them of having no heart, or mental toughness.

I don't expect you to be too sympathetic but that is the way it is.

After seeing the replays, if anybody thinks Johnson deliberately broke Sagna's leg or even deliberately stamped on his leg, they have nothing but Arsenal-tinted glasses on.

Its impossible to tell if he stamped on him!

.........having read through this board with increasing increduality i feel it's time to enter just one post. in answer to the lowlife gutter trash on here, all football programmes on t.v. that i have seem unaminously say that the sagna injury was a total accident and johnson was unaware that anything had happened. to all the real decent posters from the arsenal camp, i am sorry for this . for many years now i have thought of arsenal as my second team, but this position could be under threat. i have had much good banter with gooners in the last year or so, none more last easter after our defeat of spurs, and i have never come across such vindictive outpourings of bile on any board before. as for the idiot who said that if he moved to norwich he would gas himself, i have ordered the removal van for his move.

  8. Erm, newsflash - no one gives a **** whether the position of Arsenal being your second team is under threat. It is really quite pathetic to see Norwich fans warning us that they wont like us anymore. Its just about the lowest thing on our priority list thanks.

As for Sagna, he himself said it was done on purpose. I trust his judgement, and having watched it I have zero doubt that Johnson dragged his leg back to ensure he stamped on Sagna. Vindictive in my view.

you've got some really nasty little grimbots on this board...which probably encourages the half decent fans who are over 18 and/or have a brain in their head to migrate to another board...we realise you dont give a **** what we think etc etc - after all, we're little old norwich and you are of course, the mighty, mighty arsenal...i'm sure you dont really care what anyone thinks - on the internet, in your day to day life...perhaps thats why you are such a stand up human being and spend your days multiposting on sites such as 606...you'll go far in life...

genuinely didnt think the match was a dirty one - but you need someone to blame your past two draws on, so whatever my little inner city porkchops...

Can Sagna read minds? Only Johnson knows if it was deliberate or not. Sagna has nothing to base his stupid accusation on.

There is no evidence to suggest it was deliberate, absolutely nothing. Benefit of the doubt must be assigned to Johnson under these circumstances.

No one with any credibility believes it was deliberate. Your position on this is laughable.

I understand Arsenal fans are upset, your players do seem to suffer an unusual amount of broken legs and it's always sad to it happen to any player. I hope he makes a full recovery.

To be honest, this thread isn't really showing those who are arguing on it in a very good light -
bit of an embarrassment for both clubs really.
