Second one was a pen regardless of whether he dived! First one he looked like he kinda won but the defender put himself in that mess so let's not blame Franco.

He's not well loved at Latics having been one of Bobby's many purchases which just haven't delivered. Having lost N'Zogbia and Cleverly it looks like he might be in for a starting place which is bit worrying.

And he should've buried that header in the second half.

I fancy him to have a good season actually. Not break double figures or anything but i think he could get 8 or 9.
 
I'd love to see it. I dunno about you but I've always had the feeling that if he could score one he might go on a bit of a run - I'm racking my brains now - has he ever scored for us in a PL game?

seems odd he's a striker but never ever scores, well gets 1 every light year <laugh>
 
i get the feeling if he can get one in the next to games (providing he is given the chance) he could score a few this year. If he doesn't then he will end up getting no more than 3-4 goals this year plus we also have young conner who could play a big part this season

3 or 4 goals in a season, that would be a miracle.
Di Santo may have many talents, but scoring goals definitely is one of them.
