I wasn't sure of the exact dates Although I know he had zero to do with Barmby's sacking and SB signing AB was the reason he left
Nobody's suggested he had anything to do with Barmby's sacking, have they? When you've employed a bloke who was disliked by two managers, it would be a bit daft to inflict him on a third. For the record, I don't think it's him, he'd have been appointed already.
This Darren! wasn't he suppose to be a sports science guru and was going to help keeping player fitter and with less injuries?
His official title was Performance Manger... DARREN Robinson has left his position as Hull City's performance manager, the Mail understands. The Hull-born fitness coach who arrived at the KC Stadium in the wake of Nigel Pearson's departure in November last year, is thought to have been relieved of his duties at the club's training ground yesterday morning. Despite Robinson's close links with vice chairman Ehab Allam, manager Steve Bruce has opted against retaining the role in a new-look coaching team. Robinson's exit is a significant development for the Tigers and can be interpreted as a statement of power within the club from Bruce. Relations between Robinson and Bruce's predecessor Nick Barmby were known to be fractious and Bruce was determined to avoid any further tension ahead of the new season. City were unavailable for comment on the issue. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull...6725675-detail/story.html#Vi8UlBjHXpgt0wgM.99
Any progress with the appointment of Dof, would imagine he needs to be in place before we see any movement in the transfer market in or out.
Wasn't this Darren fella part of Our Dear Leader's "Team Hull" approach? Wherein the back room staff woukd stay the same, but the manager could change? Bollocks that. Absolute bollocks.
