To be fair, if the club believe he is a real talent, at a relatively low cost, you've got to say buying him whilst out with a groin injury that can be fixed quite easily still makes a lot of sense.
I really dont understand this Trumper thing. When have I ever said what I have is better than what other people have*, which was the direct comparison made to some bygone school chum? There's plenty of criticisms you can throw at me but oneupmanship isnt one (I believe). I'm not offended like, I just dont get it. *If we discount devastating Selleck-esque good looks.
I wasn't suggesting it was a bad deal, just that we bought a player in the full knowledge that he was injured, it was a gamble, not bad luck.
It isn't bad luck, but the extent might have been difficult to gauge; it is what it is and that's a damn shame. It could easily be mitigated by getting Wilson through the door on loan.
You're not offended? What's the point of that? It's like Victor Meldrew believing it! You're destroying the fun; be offended, be very ****ing offended.
It looks like it. He's playing his part with the injuries already so I suppose a suspension with be next.
