Great start, our new striker has just had surgery and will be out for up to two months. I thought this needed a thread of it's own.
Strange one that. Wonder if it showed in the medical and we still thought it was worth the risk. Shame though.
Some of you need to get the **** over yourselves with the "Typical City" bollocks. It happens to every single team in every league. Even the top ones. Even the top players. It's not unique to us. It's why you have a squad, not just 11 players.
Bruce confirmed 6-8 weeks. Surely it's better this happens now? We aren't technically missing him as a result, as he is yet to actually play for us.
Hope so, this is looking like a bad signing now as this guy will take a few months to get used to our game anyway and he isn't going to be much use when we have several games close together coming back from an injury with no experience
Not really mate, I am Bojack, changed my name to celebrate Yorkshire winning. We won't have this player properly ready for months so I think my comment is fair enough
Trying to spin the positives: The Norwegian season is coming to a close so Diomande would have played through the summer and coming winter without a break. He might have been knackered by February. The injury gives him up to 2 months to rest so when he comes back he'll be raring to go. Sorted.
