i was in a similar situation when we played boro at home in the fa cup. it was all rosy till they changed the game to the sunday my dilema was i was a god parent to my nieces daughter and i was warned by all family members that i had to attend so i did.i attended the church did my duties then when all of them went to pub for the party i went to sol and dealt with the consequences later.the deadly glares and cold shoulder wore off after a couple of weeks.

Except you're not, you're a fraud, you weren't desperate to see Sunderland at all.

You're tryin to tell people that your lass kept her mother's birthday party a secret from you <doh>

Why the **** would she do that and only tell you 2 days before?

If you're so busy with work that you can't go to games she'd check to make sure you were available.

And you'll decide on the party or the match based on the advice of a handful of strangers on a chat forum.

What a ****ing liar ........... how sick does someone have to be to invent ****e like this <doh>
