Oh yes, St Godders, because Southampton fans would never, ever be violent towards Portsmouth fans sitting in the home end of St Mary's..... In all seriousness, spiderman, I would strongly not recommend sitting among the Portsmouth fans for your own safety.
We've decided to sell them to two desperate Pompey fans (mates) we know who have just come back from holiday and couldn't get anyone to get them tickets. They offered us £40 for two so that makes a tidy £40 profit! 50/50 split so we'll spend that on beer and crisps and watch it round a mates house with the rest of the lads. Thanks for the advice my fellow SFC not606ers and here's hoping for a win. UTS
Imagine keeping quiet if Saints scored, but also imagine if Saints lost and you were surrounded by a Pompey fans. Makes me shudder just to think of it.
I asked David Dein ( ex head honcho for Arsenal) for tickets Arsenal vs Saints 10 years ago or so, it was the game where Le Tiss was warming up to come on as a sub and said something to the linesman and got booked whilst not playing. I took my friend who is a manc fan. Dickhead got us tickets in the North Stand with 7000 gooners. Arsenal scored first so me and my mate politely clapped- then saints got a goal and we both jumped up shouting and then sat the **** down quickly as all heads turned to us. You think you wont shout or say anything - but you will, and gooners are more forgiving than pompey fans.
Pity we give the imprsession of running scared, but that is sadly the nature of the beast that we are up against.
Would'nt want to sit in that sh%£hole even if i could sit on the Saints bench. Dont even like using the M27 down there, allways go over Portsdown hill and look down on dump....
