My earliest memory of City is the 69 Cup Final and I wish I had a $ (or pound) for every time I have heard played 4 lost 4. I would happily take 5th and a cup win. No question we could attract bigger names to the club with champions league footy but would that be growing too fast too soon? I have faith that Ranieri will continue to grow the club at a manageable pace. Would I take a Cup win over one failed season in the Champions League that ultimately financially crippled the club? Absolutely.
