That's odd - my 15yo has had Apple wallet on his phone since he was 13. Wonder if we set it up with a false DOB Going to be a right fart on for kids with small bairns - am getting to te ground at 2pm for the first game of the season to avoid the melee
I set the kids first tablets up using my email account an I was getting alerts and all sorts of crap on my account. When I got them their phones I set them all up properly with their own email accounts, all the parental settings, Google family link and stuff so it's all with their correct details which we can monitor. Google wallet is 16 plus, Apple might be different I'm not sure.
So example of this being a problem, need to be 16 to download SC, one of my boys games on Saturday was late kickoff, I went to gane with other lad, my wife dropped lad playing football off right outside the ground & he went in alone with his card. That wont be possible if I have his card on my phone....but its not legal for him to download a wallet to store his own card I know some love this digital world, great, but I think thete needs to be choice if you have to use or not as it does create problems
Only way around it would be set up a new apple ID (assuming it's an iphone) and alter his age on it (or change the age on the current one) TBF my 12yo has apple wallet on her iphone as I made them all download their boarding cards last summer - or are the club saying you can't download it if you are under 16?
Which the club shouldnt be making the only way a under 16 can be responsible for their card is to do something illegal
Well, the club aren't doing that are they? Multiple tickets can be stored on a single phone, a parent can log into a child's phone OR people can pay for a non-digital ticket Progress is happening. Resistance is futile
Sounds like it is but I won't be doing that. It's all linked through Google family link to my phone for safety/security reasons. If I give him a fake DOB he can then (accidently) disable the security features and **** knows what sort of apps/websites he will be on. I'll be asking for a physical card for him
I haven't asked for a physical card as yet but I will be. I'll be making my views known very frankly if there is a charge but I'm not sure if there is tbh. The only charge I saw mentiond was for actually visiting the ticket office face to face to renew. Anyone do this and have to pay?
That's all that I've seen, too . . . . just a £10 charge if you need renewal help from the ticket office
Will you still be able to get tickets on the day? If I come back to UK during the season, will I be able to go to a home game?
