Good result for us tonight and that's all that matters. The promotion race now includes one automatic place up for grabs instead of just the play-offs and considering Leicester's next five league games include Middlesbrough, Cardiff and Birmingham I hope they can do us a few more favours.
But we have to keep winning cos its still quite close points wise. Think Leicester are only 5 points off the play offs now. Really hope we can get automatic though.
Same here and I think it's down to who holds their nerve now. The fixtures coming up virtually guarantee there will be a lot of points dropped at the top of the table and we have a great chance of putting ourselves in the automatic race.
It's too early to say what will happen yet. That being said I do think Southampton will fall away, now that their home fortress has been well and truly breached. Cardiff will be the second autos, IMHO as the club have experience at this level and it feels like their time. February is MASSIVE for us: Saturday, 4 February 2012 Portsmouth v Hull, 15:00 Saturday, 11 February 2012 Hull v Bristol City, 15:00 Tuesday, 14 February 2012 Birmingham v Hull, 19:45 Saturday, 18 February 2012 Hull v Brighton, 15:00 Saturday, 25 February 2012 Cardiff v Hull, 15:00
I agree about Southampton and Cardiff will be desperate to get out of Swansea's shadow. They are in a good position and it will be interesting to see how West Ham deal with some serious pressure.
And now Wellens is being targetted by Leeds. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7450358/Leeds-target-Wellens I bet the Leicester fans think he's **** now even though a couple of weeks ago he was too good for us to sign. Maybe we should offer them £50k more than Leeds do, just to imagine their reaction.
