Damn straight, any pay cuts should start at the top and move down, not at the bottom and move up. Someone should tell Levy
Well they are still claiming 80% off the government so don’t think it’s any good from Liverpool either
Whilst I'm no pool fan, why wouldn't they take advantage of the government scheme? . and they didn't need to make the top up ... fair play...
its a ****in joke is what it is that clubs cant pay the staff on the lowest wages at the club but can shell out millions for players.
the pay cuts should have started at the top with the top brass, and Klopp/players, which would be a small % of their combined ££ to pay the other staff. Simples because what they are doing instead is getting the money from Steve who's out running supplies to the supermarkets or working as a Nurse in the NHS, people like that. those are some of the people paying the clubs' staff at the moment
From a business risk perspective. Has anyone running these clubs ever considered the question "what happens if football is shut down for an extended period" Seems ludicrous that none of them thought about that

I agree with your principle of where cuts should be made in order of priority ... but my point about Liverpool using the job mention scheme ... and indeed topping it up, stand
