Unlike last season when the 3 all got promoted to the top flight and looks like the majority of them will be dropping straight back down again, I think Norwich Sheff. Utd. A.Villa will all do a good job of surviving next season in the premier league 3 big clubs Agree ? where's the Blobfish ?
I think Sheff Utd will struggle with what they've got, they are a hard working side but no stars amongst them, they will need to get rid of 8-10 players and replace them with more expensive players and being mindful as to what happened to Fulham this season.
funny but out of the 3 I think Norwich will find it toughest, I thought Sheff. Utd. looked a well knit side, but I only saw them a handful of times, I dont think Villa will do a Leicester but they look quality
More than likely - it could be decided this weekend. If we don't beat Fulham on Saturday afternoon, then any sort of result for Brighton at home to Newcastle that evening will probaly clinch it. Can't say that I've enjoyed it mind, although glad we got there and filled our ground for every game.
I think it was probably decided a while ago. A real tragedy about Sala but I'm not sure he would have made the difference, but we will never know.
To be fair, it's not been right from the start. We didn't invest enough overall last summer and relied on Zohore and Madine up front - what a bloody disaster. The January thing with Sala to address the situation was a personal tragedy for the lad, and as it's happened we've had to rely on Niasse on loan from Everton to get the goals - another bloody disaster. We could never hope for the quality players to compete with those top half dozen eleite clubs but we should have put ourselves in a position to take on most of the others - bad decision making. History now I'm afraid and we have to rely on Brighton continuing to implode to see us stay up. It would be very, very interesting if the 3 point gap stayed the same after Saturday because I can't see Brighton getting any points at all from their last 2 games against Arsenal and Man City.
