They have a blind player in the starting 11, he's really quite good and we should have kept him. Boyd, George Boyd.
Ah, but do their Chinese take-always do fish and chips as bad as ours? These are questions the public need answering!
It's always a gamble on the pie filling. Vagueness surrounding actual meat source - makes it interesting!
It claimed to be a fish and chip shop, but it turned out to be a thinly disguised Chinese take-away. It was even called Golden Fish. The ****s.
Theyve had more strikers inv2 years than we have in 20 We just dont seem to get it quite right for some reason. Now wheres the Burnley striker scout we could do with him.
Burnley are getting and taking good advantage of ""good luck"" atm. However, it can soon change. The last 4 wins could very easily have been draws. Whilst they fully deserved the win @ Udders on Saturday the previous 3 @ Bolton and Fulham and @ home to Blackburn they certainly did not. But with so many points still left to play for and Burnley having a trip to Brighton and a home game with Middlesboro it could all change once again and probably will. Nothing to worry about at this moment in time. imho.
There's no luck involved, they're just playing better than we are. Hard to believe given the two squads in comparison, but thems the facts. Like you say it could all change, but they look the best equipped to take the title and it's going to be really tight for that second spot.
Certainly Not in the 3 games before Saturday. Bolton, Fulham away and Blackburn @ home they got very lucky. Bolton should have been 3 goals up before Gray scored and that was a gift. Blackburn @ home. Blackburn outplayed Burnley for most of the game but just could not score. Stupid penalty to give away which cost them a draw. Fulham 2-1 up and playing much better and then Tom Cairney gives away a stupid penalty. 2-2 and the game changes. 6 points gained when they should have had at best only 3. But IF we win our 2 games in hand then the gap is back to 3 points. Long way still to go.
The fact is they won through and got the points though. You could say the same about us vs Birmingham or Mk Dons, we weren't unlucky, we just didn't do what was needed to get the points, whereas Burnley are doing.
Simple... Burnley playing with confidence at the minute, we aren`t, we`re trying to walk the ball into the net. Wasn`t too long ago we were flying and Burnley were having an indifferent run, hence why Brucey got the manager of the month and Hernandez got player of the month. This form has been interrupted by the FA Cup run, which seems to have interrupted our flow. Now I don`t disagree that in Vokes and Gray they have two strikers who are certainly finding the net easier then our lot, but for me all we need is to scramble a win against Forest, and we`ll be up and running again. While I`m as frustrated as the rest, you can see we`re a lot more deliberate on the ball then we were 6 weeks ago, which happens when your confidence suddenly drops. I know it`s difficult at present, but I still believe we have the tools to get this done.
I think you might be right. Which is why as a promotion chasing Championship club the FA Cup is bollocks, as I've said since we first went in. I'd like to think we'll have a revival, like we did after our last poor run, but we have to buck our ideas up ****ing sharpish to have any shot at keeping in the race for promotion.
We've hard some good luck this season (QPR away springs to mind) and undeniably Burnley have had some in their recent games. I think luck can play a huge role in individual games however it is normally balanced out over the course of a season and the best team prevails in the end.
Apart from Burnley having one very good inform larker upfrônt fook all really. We fooking hammered them and Boro at our gaff and I'm certain we will do Boro again. Pies from a Chinese...wt f ? Bruce OUT.
No matter how cheesy and lowbrow Steve Jordan gets, or how daft our scoreboard/lightshow display is, this club would never sink so low as to join the tinpot teams who play 'Tom Hark' by the Piranhas when we score.
