He was good although I think he looks clumsy and plays with his head down when he's got the ball at his feet outside the box. He worked very hard this evening though and took his goal very well. It must be a concern that he only puts a shift in when he fancies it? Fairly safe bet that he'll move to a big club this summer.

Agree that inconsistency is his biggest issue. Too often he's the complete opposite of what he was tonight. I do feel the tie completely swung in their favour once he went off though.

I wouldn't be too concerned if he left in the summer as too many times he's just so frustrating to watch.
 
redeemed himself in my eyes. great player when fired up...and when he gets SERVICE.

we basically havent fed him, and thats why hes looked poor at times, excited to see what conte does with him

If Conte wants him??........ i feel overall he's more of a liability than an asset,know he has the odd
good game,but is that enough?
 
Yeah Costa has been blinding lately.
Would definitely keep him.
If he cut out the MMA routine he would be one of Europes top 5 strikers. :)

He's a disgrace imo couldnt get off quick enough when the tie was out of reach, same as hazard, should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, the tie was over at 1-1, champion him if ya want, a player like Terry or Lampard wouldve stayed on until they were carried off on a stretcher, thats the level of his and hazards commitment to cfc.

Disgrace imo, id want them both gone just for that, also hazard swapping shirts at half time? utter disgrace.

I know you are just wumming sucky but is that the attitude when Gerrard deliberately got himself sent off in a pivotal match against United for the top 4 trophy? :D

Im really not mate, if thats the kind of attitude & commitment you expect from 2 of your top players then fair enough, i suppose over the years you've grown used to having mercenaries playing for you and showing the fans utter contempt in swapping shirts at half time and all of a sudden picking up knocks when the tie is as good as over.

the fact that costa and hazard walked off the pitch unaided should tell you they could have carried on playing had they had any ounce of respect or commitment to your club and its fans, costa subbed himself by signalling he could not continue. yet walks off himself.

im shocked none of you think this is disgusting, well no im not but still.
