I may have to shadow him again (only joking Brick top Nuts) .. did think of another ID change so as to rewrite history ... The Norwich lads wouldn't have noticed if I had become Swords Hoppster or Swords Hoopstar for 28 days ... can you imagine the sort of apologies I would write

I would suggest not, a laugh is one thing, my evening being ruined by childish play just pisses me off TBH, still your choice.

 

Swords never used to bother me but he has become irritating and I hope this gives time to reflect. The tipping point was when he had a thread created about him and saw a huge amount of support for some of his 'banter'. At that point he became a charicature of himself having to live up to the image. Rather than a great quick witted put down or sharp response now and again abuse became the norm and lacked football contact. Just my opinion but hope to see him back a little more chilled and focus on the football side of the forum.

 

I hope the board doesn't turn into some 'police state' where posters have to watch evrything the write? It would be a great shame.

 

Childish play is one thing we should hold onto Sydney ... But I am not the type to do anything that causes work for others now that I know that it does indeed cause extra work for the Masonics. I doubt if 7 days in the cooler will have the desired effect for Pork, I fully expect him to come back like Gremlins 2 the afterbirth

Personally I am a bit bored with it all to be honest...a ban does seem harsh, but Swords has been kicking up a stink for a while now. If it takes a ban to harness his focus a little, then so be it. Interesting time to introduce a ban though...assume something has happened behind the scenes?? Anywho...I am sure he will come back fighting fit after training with some other lower league board

I like the aspect of being able to have banter and discussions with other teams fans on here, but do hate all the abuse and "WUM" activity that seems to be more frequent these days than I can ever remember seeing since joining...far too often lately have we seen threads dedicated to people bitchin n whinging, or people actively seeking to piss off other teams board members...I guess at times its difficult to draw the line on what constitutes banter or WUM activity...personally I would hate to be a mod as it looks a damn tough job, so well done gents and continue to good work.

At a wild guess I would think that he has been banned for stuff he wrote on the Norwich board that most of us would not have seen, and not under the jurisdiction of our mods. Outside of that I see little point in speculating but I’m sure he will be most indignant on his return.

Swords did say his mission was to make as many enemies as possible, so it looks like he's doing a good job, but he does hate it when you don't bite at some of his posts.

I can't understand why Medro is still allowed to post on Not606 though! He's a first class ****!

 

Personally think the board is a bit worse off for not having swords on here...for all his faults he is definately one of the best posters here.

Maybe he needs a break for a bit (it happens to us all!); but I will say in his defense, we do seem to have an excessive amount of posters from Norwich taking part in our board threads / discussions..

Whether this is down to what SH has posted or other issues, I'm not quite sure TBH...?

Personally, I think they can dio what ever they like, just dont understand why they want to spend so much time on a QPR site and not thier own!

No doubt he'll return next week with another pathetic 'Why me?' thread preaching a revolution. The bloke is a head case, which is a shame, as he can put some very good posts out, but he can't resist wumming. Sadly too many on here massage his ego which only makes things worse. Good job I'll be away for a couple of weeks when he returns...

 

It's a bit of a no win situation with S. Be friendly with him and he goes hyper, have a go and he can turn nasty.
