    Would that be the sort of mid table team they were under Alex Ferguson for the first four or five years of his tenure?

    1987 - 11th
    1988 - 2nd (a blip)
    1989 - 11th
    1990 -13th

    I doubt he'll ever know that kind of success. If he stays alive long enough he'll probably get half a season at Chelsea though.

    he wasn't really given the time being the 5th choice chosen one but he's doing well now at a proper club.

    Bet they would have him back now after being outclassed by Southampton at home. Its looking like LVGNPB will be looking over his shoulder if this continues. ;)

    The micro club a billion in debt with less fans in London than United and Liverpool are above United for once so their usually silent (often seat like) fans are furiously waving their plastic flags furiously just now.

    They'll fizzle off into nothing again shortly.
