The truth usually comes out in the wash LL so we will see <ok>

I wanted Cellino to be good for the club, I wanted him to deliver on the promises and buy back the ground and I wanted Redfearn to make a success of it. I didn't believe Redfearn would and I don't believe Cellino is good for us either.

No idea - But Cellino is saying that the board had been kept informed all week in one sentance and then questioning why the board were not informed - you couldn't make it up!!

The only 'official' reason Leeds United have offered for suspending Thompson was that he was 'under-performing'.

Admittedly a catch all phrase that could mean that the club thought that his swearing wasn't up to par.

In fact the only time insulting Salerno arose as a reason was via Massivego speaking via The Sun. Now that doesn't mean it did or didn't happen but as so many have people have pointed out if they insulted their superiors they would probably get dismissed and that might be true but at any sensibly run business they would also carry out these procedures from the acas guidelines.

    4. That said, whenever a disciplinary or grievance process is being followed it is important to deal with issues fairly. There are a number of elements to this:

    • Employers and employees should raise and deal with issues promptly and should not unreasonably delay meetings, decisions or confirmation of those decisions.
    • Employers and employees should act consistently.
    • Employers should carry out any necessary investigations, to establish the facts of the case.
    • Employers should inform employees of the basis of the problem and give them an opportunity to put their case in response before any decisions are made.
    • Employers should allow employees to be accompanied at any formal disciplinary or grievance meeting.
    • Employers should allow an employee to appeal against any formal decision made.

Any indication that the above occurred? If not why not?

Also... Cellino said it was in ear shot of other people, what other people, nobody else has come forward. Earlier in the season there was a "he said she said racist" moment with one of our players and a Norwich player, they were dealt with correctly, let us listen to all the facts and a decision made.

Thompson wasn't suspended while we investigate and he has already been told his contract won't be renewed, it stinks of Cellino all over it and as he isn't supposed to be anywhere near the club or making any decisions I guess he has to pass the buck, sadly it would "seem" like he has lumbered the blame on to Salerno.

I don't recall how the question was couched, but I understand that journalists normally offer 'open' questions to delberately avoid 'yes' & 'no' answers. Readers don't like reading interrogations, you see. Have you not read the article?
