Maybe that's your experience. Your whole attitude reeks of failure. What job do you do? I was the senior on the job.
Oh Dear Oh Dear, personal abuse again Peter, you just can't help it, when you have no sensible answer you resort to abuse. For the record no failure here, and my company used KPMG. I don't insult you, but if you want to try and be offensive to me I can and will respond in like fashion. So lets keep this amicable shall we. If you have a valid point make it, but don't lower yourself to simple name calling, there are enough doing that on here already and it doesn't aid your cause.
He's having someone belittle his previous work, childish tit for tat between them maybe, but it's not really two faced to be childish in response to someone being childish.
TygerTyger was being a patronising twat, trying to get a rise. I think Peter is well within his rights to give some back.
I'm not convinced about the re-brand, if that's what it is - and I'm not arguing for it. I do however acknowledge that we are an unsustainable business proposition at current levels of income and I find it difficult to deny Allam the opportunity to do what he feels is necessary to change the fact. Whilst I do feel our football team should always be known as Hull City (though AFC is superfluous to our common identity IMHO) I also acknowledge that the only name change that has occurred is with out holding company. Half the clubs in the league are owned by a holding company which is different to their footballing identity and frankly I don't see this as necessarily a problem. If in future Mr Allam wants to change the name of the club officially then I will weigh up arguments for and against based on a cost/benefit type scenario. No tangible benefit at the cost of our heritage then I would be in the "no" camp. This however isn't what is happening at the moment, it's a knee-jerk reaction against a media storm which has been kiicked up to provide the press with cheap headlines. That's all.
I based mine on a map. "where do I live?" "where's the nearest professional football club" ....and this was at a time when just about everyone else at my school "supported" liverpool or Man U.
