If I had any influence I know who wouldn't be at left back. As it is - I have no control - not even of my own sanity - because, despite what I said after Barnsley, I shall be going to Chesterfield on Saturday- but I must remember to take a bag of sweets for the Hi Viz chaps.
I've just looked at the video of the game and I reckon Luton's goal was all down to Ehmer's poor attempt at a clearance...............
Garmston has made an impact in all of his last 3 sub appearances, now as previously stated I more believe that our erratic perfomances are still linked to the understanding between Dickenson and Oshilaja had. This shouldn't really be a factor but maybe through preseason and the start of this season it was set up that Dickenson would be alongside Oshilaja and Garmston would set up alongside Ehmer, now if that was the case then maybe Brennan understood when he could push forward and when he couldn't with Deji next to him. Now he's playing alongside Ehmer, his perfomances have dropped and that understanding between the professionals, could be a factor due to Brennan being out of position on a more regular basis. Either way Brad should start tomorrow for me.
Careful what you say PegLeg, if Always knew you were suggesting, a left back playing out of position going forward on the wing he'd have a coronary.
Well done Brennan - brilliant header. I think it illustrates my point - Dickenson is a forward -- and I believe that JE has, at last, got the message. As for McGlashan's defensive 'duties' - well we could start another 'Dickensonesque' thread. I appreciate that we're a bit thin on the ground - but Jermaine was fully asleep when he allowed the Scunthorpe scorer to 'walk' past him for a 'free go' at goal for 0-1.
