Chief negotiator Dick Law is to step down at the end of the month. Other than signing Sanchez and Ozil, our transfer business over the last few years has hardly been exciting. And given the debacle over letting players run down their contracts, it seems a refresh is needed.

I guess it all depends on who replaces him, would love to see David Dein brought back into the fold in this area.

Rightly or wrongly it seems he is being blamed for the whole transfer mess. He wasn't hired that long ago. If you read his job description, it is hardly surprising that he is being dismissed. We will of course never know for how much or how little he was actually responsible.

I thought he'd been there for 8 years ?

Good news. Seems we regularly fail to sign Wengers transfer targets. Need new negotiators for sure.

Yep - that was what I was admitting to. Now don't you start on me!

Chill bru ... Let's hope Fahmy does a better job with it all. His specialism with Sky was apparently closing deals, something that we've not done well at Arsenal over the last decade.
