Any player who doesnt train for a week or 2 and hasnt played a match for 3 or 4 weeks will have to get his fitness up, its not an injury IMO, just match fitness. Id expect to see him on the subs bench at spurs and start against Reading.
Ali Faurlin a donkey?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I find out who dared to utter such blasphemy, I'll ban him on the spot!
Gauntlet tossed my way then. I'll try to get something tasty. Cesar said "thank you" to me when I shook his hand and wished him luck at the club. That count?
Yeah, I suppose. Thought a fitness test was usually a test of being able to play that day though....not simply an on-going improvement of fitness?
Perfect, thanks mate, may do it as a one off and fit it in with his free junior hoop tour. Met a load at the Hull game on promotion and he loved that (especially Adel) so i'm sure he'll like it. Met TF pre Swansea as well which was great. A genuinely relaxed friendly bloke! Not sure if its for the boy or me but i'll dress it up as him!
It was a test to see if he was up to speed to play against the scum, he was probably blowing too hard to be considered. It was not to improve his fitness, just to see if he could play.
Thanks Col and North. Now I know Diakite is on the mend, back in training, and is not very likely to catch a cold from not washing himself after training. Such insights I miss over here. I'll sleep well tonight, even though the Amit thread was not quite such good news on that little side issue. Cheers!
