He better hope there aren't any burglars in Paris.

In all seriousness, good luck to him. I think it shows a lack of character chucking it in after one season but there's little point in him staying if he's unhappy and playing poorly.

He is on record as saying he would not give up after one season, let's see if he meant it.

If he goes, I have to question whether he wanted to go to PSG in the first place.

Yep which means his heart was always there. I think if he stays he will have a stonking 2nd season. But same token if he goes it's not like we were dependent on him last season.

Why? It is obvious he has no control over transfers at the club

I suspect he has more control over transfers than Jose who seems to have been told that the coffers are empty for his last season at Chelsea!

And Jose will have to shut up and accept it otherwise he'll be sacked like last time.

Lol no it just makes me laugh. Nothing exemplifies a player who knows he's completely out of his depth than Benteke in that picture <laugh>

I think sometimes a change of scenery is the best way to kick start a career especially if there have been the types of off-pitch incidents that have marred his start. If his family is unhappy then I can see the point in his trying to giving it a go somewhere else.

The rumour is that United/PSG are near an agreement and the fee would be around £48m. That is not bad and would still be one of the biggest transfer fees in the premier league.

The Chavs could only dream of getting that for Torres instead of having to pay someone to take him off their hands.

    haha
In all fairness Liverpool played a blinder.
He was on his way out when they sold him.
had a long injury lay off not long before we bought him, and he wasn't looking the same player, even for Liverpool, in the couple of months before we bought him.

Guy lost his sharpness and his confidence.
Plus he was completely unsuited to the way we played. We like strong players who can hold up the ball and bring the AM's into play.
Torres liked running off the shoulder of defenders, that combined with his struggling fitness and lack of confidence was a recipe for disaster.

Thats how you can tell it was a Roman buy and not a Ancelotti buy, because, same with Shevchenko, he was totally unsuited and not what we needed.
This is what happens when Chairmen try to get involved with the football side of things.
They should deal with the business and finance side and stay the **** out of the football.

Neither Shevchenko nor Torres were suited to long ball football.
