He just wants a better deal at Real Madrid, simples. Gerrard did it. Rooney did it. Modric has practically done it. Not going to happen IMO which is a shame, but then again he is a bit sly and I'm not keen on those sorts of players.
 
Nobody denies his talent but I don't want us throwing money at something at the worst possible time to buy a big money player. Cahill and one more signing will do.

Are real really going to sell one of their prized assets in Jan? Doubtful and he'd be cup tied for C.L which is our main focus now this season.

We need to replace Anelka especially with Drogs and Kalou at ACN.

What about De Bruyne? He'd cost about 25% of de maria's fee and a lot less in wages. Stick him on the left and Mata off Torres.

Or alternatively give youth a chance and stick in Kakuta or Piazon??

Well said. We need a winger and Mata needs to be in the centre of the attack <ok>. Di Maria is not the way forward, just his ego and cheating put me off.

Watched De Bruyne ( on TV ) as often as possible last couple of seasons. He's definitely a very good player, however not convinced he's any better than Kakuta or more recently, Piazon who's going like a train. He's slightly more advanced than our two for one reason only....... he plays !!!!!!!!!!!! So for mine, give youth a chance, play our kids, and definitely Mata in behind Torres, you've got that 10000000% right
