Is saying he's right really defending his tenure? I mean Gus has mirrored his sentiments on more than one occasion, albeit with out being so blunt. It's also what some Sunderland fans think too. I don't read any posts saying his treatment of the players was correct, do you?

have to disagree with you on Bardo and Catts ability.

Bardo is a solid defender. not great, but decent. he wouldnt get into a top 6 team, but mid table is about right.

Catts is getting better under Poyet, the biggest problem I have had with Catts the last few seasons is not his skill, but his discipline and injury record - get those sorted and you have a decent player as a defensive midfielder.

Anyway, PDC attacked their attitude not their skill. so PDC still wasnt right was he? bardo f**ked up badly with those casino pics and deserved to be disciplined, but his attitude on the football pitch has always been good.

who else was mentally weak, as you put it, in the last couple of games?

Altidore? he was brought in under PDCs management

Colback? again, he was PDC golden boy but was rubbish against Norwich

    Bridcutt?

    AJ? Borini? Manonne?

The players brought on by Poyet, who drew us the 2nd half and took us from awful to average were Cattermole and Larsson.

So I have no idea how this shows that PDC was right (which is what I am arguing about)

btw: you know that Smug is laughing his arse off while reading this? that smug bastard wanted to start an arguement with this thread and he bloody well has done <yikes>

Ok, Poyet has questioned their the squads attitude on numerous occasions.

And as for Smug? Get a grip man, he's started a valid thread that encourages debate, what's wrong with that? It's exactly what the forum needs. It's just a discussion. <ok>

JoS has been the weakest for me, he can't be bothered to maintain concentration, Jozy Weak, Bardo weak, Fletcher Week, Ki weak, Colback week, Seb week, Connor (just from the two selfish decisions he's made in the last hour of football I've seen him watch) weak. Weak weak weak.

Seems like you're the one who's desperate for an argument ........ I just said that Di Canio had the players sussed, that's all.
