Paolo Di Canio called for a memorial to be erected to his Swindon Town players after the League Two team pulled off the shock of third-round day with a 2–1 FA Cup win over Premier League strugglers Wigan Athletic.

"The lads deserve for the club to do something special and put their names on the stadium," said the Italian "I know that normally you only do this when you win something big and I'm not necessarily saying [to put up] a statue, but even something small like a plaque with all their names because they have done something special. Even if I go on to become a Premier League manager and they go on to become Premier League players, this is to be remembered."

Always played with his heart on his sleeve and manages the same way but isnt this a bit over the top?

Allo Stain

I reckon the Dukes will rise this year with the bigger engines

Let's hope so. I might ride a Honda VFR myself, but it was a bit boring seeing all the potential 1-2-3s they had, or nearly had. last season. I might wear the 46 myself, as a signature for the season, come Qatar time. The top of my browser is dedicated to Vale. See..? [Just Printscreened]:

Awww man how come all the moto gp lovers n bikers are on the board 19 miles to the west? Anyways I can't look past Casey Stoner for the title this year. Although If Dani Pedrosa can stay injury free then I can see him putting up a fight.

P.S Is it sad that I ordered a hoodie with the number 46 on the back?

Because hardly anybody goes on the MotoGP board. Dani will never be World Champion in the big class. There, I've said it.

As regards the Hoodie, just don't put the hood up - ever. You might then get away with it. ;)

I disagree on Dani somewhat, he's finished 2 at the end of the season twice and in both those seasons he suffered fairly serious injuries. It is a long shot for him but I wouldn't rule him out.

The 46 isn't on the back of the hood its on the back of the jumper part:biggrin:

Peace out, I gotta get up early tommoza.
