But were we though? Bentley probably had one of his easiest games of the season against the top scoring side in the division

That was a slog and could have gone either way and was heading for a draw...Good change by Dean.
We are grinding out results which is the main thing and as I've said before, there's more than one way to win a football match..Well done Deano & the team..
NB. One win in 6 for Houghton and Warnock on the end of a drubbing....................Sorry RR, I'm sure that will come back and bite me on my backside at some point!!

Great result - didn't see the game so can't comment on the performance from a position of knowledge, but I accept the opinions on here.
Lucky? Quite possibly - but I'll take it!

I'm not moaning about players at the moment, great result, brilliant effort and I admit I thought this one would end in a defeat, 3 more points, great uplifting result for all of us, great effort to all of the boys, terrific.

Diedhou has never been my cup of tea but he does seem to come up with late game winning goals. If we truly want to achieve higher status we will need to get more players on the list of scorers because that will win us more games. Good result tonight after a bit of a downturn and it was just what we needed to keep in the mix but we are well below the quoted 2 goals per game supposedly required to stay at the top end of the table.

For me a better performance than the last 5 or 6 games, but still difficult to watch at times. There isn’t any pressure in the middle of the park. Wells looks like he’s dejected and playing on empty out wide. A good defensive display. It seems DH philosophy is to stifle play and keep it at 0-0 until late in the game then counter. Which is great, until you go behind in the first half, as we did against Watford.

Great result, well done for sticking with it lads ! According to the stats we had half the possession that they did, but its sticking it in the net that counts !!
Given all the injuries we've had and players like Baker and Weimann missing, I think we're doing incredibly well.

Personally thought it was a cracking game to watch-both sides going for it.

We got the goal and three points -We still have our better players to come back and we are chasing the top two well done one and all.

Sorry, I meant Reading. I agree Wells worked his socks off, but in areas where he doesn’t hurt the opposition in the same way as when he’s down the middle.

Of all the games I've watched this season, not one has inspired me and I've come away thinking, wow we just got another 3 points.
I think it was you and RR raving about Bakinson and how come LJ didn't use him..........personally I don't think he's all that, quite often bad first touch and his distribution IMO is poor.

I did say Bakinson did well, you can't disagree, perhaps Covid has lessened him.
However you didn't add, surprise surprise, that I also questioned Junior selecting Massengo ahead of Bakinson.

    Thoughts?

Bakinson was very poor last night, him and Massengo together were hopeless, I felt for Nagy who was run ragged. Bakinson has definitely been much better than that, so perhaps it was an off game for him. For me, Massengo needs to go in Jan, either on loan or permanently, he won't improve or add anything to the team by playing bits here and there.
