Well, even Fat Boy realises there's a bit of a balancing act involved here. Sure, he wants to make money but he doesn't want to make a decision that might result in relegation or force him to emigrate to the moon.

No-one really knows if there's been a single serious offer for Andy Carroll. It's all rumour and gossip.
 
Andy Carroll is looking like a 20+ goal and 10-15 assists a season player...In the season we went down we scored only 40 goals. A place in the Premier League is worth £60m. It's as simple as that! Carroll without a decent replacement is worth far more to us as OUR player, than anyone elses!
