This. Maiga, Ridgewell, Pieters and Hoilett would make me a very happy man! As you've said, we need cover for Cheick unless Abeid is good enough. New contracts for Colo, Sammy and Guthrie and we're away!

Yeah, it seems like Kadar has disappeared off the face of the planet. Contract running out, has been fairly impressive in the past, is asking for games. I'm not saying he's 'the answer', I'd still want Ridgewell but Perch playing ahead of him? That's just odd.

Kadar as the 5th CB (the Sol Campbell role) and bumped up when we have injuries. He's only 21 so he'd have time to climb up the rankings, might be better if we loan him out actually (with a recall option).

 

I'd be happy enough to just get Maiga and Ridgewell and not sell anyone important in January. Address CM and RW issues in summer.

Back to reality two would be great in Jan and I think Pieters versatility fits the bill. Raylor can cover him at full back and he can play central if needed. And I'd go for a striker. Who I don't know so I've put the two we've linked with. I'd prefer someone not going to ACN but you can't really base your transfer policy around that.
