Wow. Someone should send that to Fernandes so that he can stick it on the dressing room wall. Let them be in no doubt how we are all feeling right now. Great post Danish.
Very eloquently put. I have realized all those things in your first paragraph, and to say I am unhappy about the situation and Hughes' role in it is an understatement. Personally I do not know what is for the best going forward, but, as I have repeatedly said, I more than understand the desire to get rid of him ASAP. I just get uncomfortable with the labeling of someone who, though he is clearly not delivering and may be at his wits end, as 'a confused old man' and 'senile' as we have seen on here in the last couple of hours. And not only because I'm older than him! Let me be clear - I do NOT find it offensive, I'm fine with everybody expressing themselves however they want, but I don't get how this approach encourages dialogue and debate, unlike your last post, which does, wouldn't you say?
SB - I love your use of the written word and always appreciate your considered opinions - which, as we are on here together is a given that we want to pull in the same direction, however little that may be. Somehow this club needs to really pull in the same direction, somewhere along the chain this isn't happening. This is frustrating the lot of us I'm sure. For the majority of the OUT brigade it's not nice to hear that some fantastic posters are not posting due to a monotonous voice, I would love to have a discussion on past forgotten legends such as Mick Leach and which of the current mob we have do we think will emulate this wonderful guy one day - we just can't can we - we are mired in this crisis, we can all see where this could end, we've all been there and done it. I do however doff my cap to you sir for keeping our doom mongering in check and look forward to banter in a light hearted manner. Forever - Come on you rrrrrrrrs. Starting by giving it large this Saturday.
Cheers Danish. The stress is getting to us all in different ways, allowances have to be made, and I haven't been great at that the last couple of days. I'll be bellowing my head off for 95 minutes in the Loft on Saturday and demanding a win - for all the obvious reasons plus I really cringe when we boo our own team (no objection in principle, paying customers have the right to do this, I just can't abide it) which I think is inevitable if it goes tits up. When everything is settled one way or another I'll be starting the Ron Abbott appreciation thread, for reasoned reflection and nostalgia.
I completley understand both sides of the argument as up until last weekend I was supporting MH. But rather than wanting MH out, I think my patience has worn too thin to support him now and I have nothing that can defend his record any longer. I will support QPR whenever I am at games as I dont think making our bad feelings known will do anyone any good. But I will be delighted if MH can turn this around and regain my support.
