You will love it! I enjoy the privileges of directors boxes at away games and they are a great day out (better when we win)
Sorry chaps, something has been lost in translation here. An apparent attack has been made. Is it something specific said on this thread? On other threads? From fellow posters or the club and players in general? Forgive me for my confusion as I'm slightly worried that you maybe reffering to me.
Listening to all the player interviews recently has put pride back into QPR, so many teams have fallen apart in similar situations but to the contrary our players are finally gelling in their cause. Does it not make you feel like standing up and cheering them on as you would a boxer who despite being knocked down refuses to quit. We are at a crossroads where the club needs our support not a bloody witchhunt.
Unfortunately the boxing trainers plan is to attack the opponent fist with his mans face. Not a lot of chance of winning that way.
Same here, no longer a local. Don't get me wrong i have despaired at times this season, but i truly believe Hughes has brought in some exciting players that i could only dream of a couple of years ago. Those same players are supportive of Hughes and openly admitting they are also responsible for our season so far. As supporters we need to get behind the club. Its typical Rangers that we have a bright future ahead of us with everybody buying into the dream but we can't bloody win. Please God let us win handsomely on saturday.
Don't for a minute think that this refers to you 9s. You have your doubts, bounce back and jump aboard the QPR bus again with no thought other than to cheer the lads on. Of this forum, you have THE most infectious enthusiam for our lovely, if often wayward little club. Don't stop what you're doing mate.
Cheers for that Matt. I sometimes post in frustration following a bad result. ( Don't we all? ) But I still try to remain positive later in the week, and muster up enough courage for the next game. I of course realise that things are very tetchy of late, and our other fellow great posters faith is being questioned. But we are all in this together, however that may manifest itself at this present moment. I still have the faith as do you. How long for? It's becoming harder , but we have to hang on in there my friend. I still think we will be OK.
You're entitled to your opinion. I am very critical of Hughes's tactics and formations, but I am trying to give a balanced argument. Are you happy with MH's tactics etc to date?
He must be happy with them. I am generally concerned for my team under Hughes, i can't see how any fan couldn't be!! Unless they are enjoying this season to date!
I was certainly not referring to you Nines! Also have no problem with those who want Hughes out, I have increasing doubts myself. It's the monomaniacs that bore me.
Sorry, I didn't realise there was something else on the discussion ladder! You may not have realised but we are bottom of the division and now adrift, we have not won away for over a year, we are paying way over the odds for players who couldn't give 2 hoots. Strange you don't hear Zamora, Cisse, Park, SWP, Bosingwa running to the rallying cry! Don't take it for one moment that we do not care about our club, don't think for one moment that 99.9% are not prepared to eat humble pie and would love to if Hughes turned out to be a manager that could just even lead us to safety. It's not that we won't be shouting from the small seats of Loftus Road or shouting at our tellies in far flung places, wishing we were there - because we will, only problem is that some of us are less able to deal just in faith, some of us need to rationalise and deal with trends and facts -that doesn't make either side wrong - in fact it makes for debate on occaisions. Some of us just want more than one away victory in a year, some of us want to see different formations tried rather than the same ones that have proved fruitless, some of us want to see visual inspiration, some of us just want this laughing stock to end - And some of us believed it had.
