Don't you scotch have something similar, Celtic Connections? We English have one too, Cambridge Folk Festival, it's where all the people with beards have their annual meet.

    Something like that.

My ex was up at the Feile an Phobail in West belfast (some Irish culture festival) and she said it was a disgrace. Went up to see Faithless playing and said that there were women in their 50s off their faces and falling about like some teenage tarts would do.

Another bird i know was up a few days later to see the Happy mondays play and she said that it was pretty much the same. Either people off their faces or knocking the **** out of each other. She said the only festival in the world she has been too where you could go up and buy a full glass bottle of wine <laugh>

Who said "kind", don't start putting words in my mouth medro.
And I feel I am right in questioning your motivations for posting on the thread. The fleadh does have little to do with you and I feel I am allowed to question your motivations for posting on something you evidently have shown little interest in when uour obvious intent is to point score.

Given your propensity for highlighting things you perceive to have gone wrong for anything remotely connected to expressions of Irish culture, I would say the success of the event has caused you nought but consternation.

Were there any decent slane-style photos of folk getting noshed off by borderline jailbait from this thing?

Whilst we're on it, ah probably wid as long as she said she was legal and I didn't know about all the other cocks in her mouth that day.

I replaced the word *****s with 'kind' as I am guessing that you were refering to the PUL community.

I have no interest in the fleadh but that doesn't mean I can't comment on the topic.

I have neither heard or seen anything about it so was interested to see that IRA singing was taking place at this festival.
