Match preview from the official; Rangers ready to head to Derby Easter Monday sees QPR head to the east midlands to take on Derby County at Pride Park (3pm). Although the R’s are all-but guaranteed of Championship football for next season, they still want to end the campaign positively and have three more matches to play before 2018/19 concludes. Monday’s clash is set to be a tough one with their opponents – Frank Lampard’s Rams – still chasing a top-six finish. The Derby squad is one that is full of youth and one that boasts a great deal of exciting talent. Harry Wilson and Mason Mount – borrowed this season from Liverpool and Chelsea respectively – have both caught the eye this season and will need to be kept quiet on Monday. Derby drew 2-2 at Birmingham City on Good Friday, with all of the goals coming in an action-packed first 28 minutes, while Rangers were beaten at Loftus Road by in-form Blackburn Rovers.
Happy Easter one and all, been a busy one for me and so sorry for the late match day thread. Also had to do it on my phone so please mods, edit as needed.
Yes! get in another Rangers game, can't wait to see what variant of utter ****e will be served up this time. Given the current climate my bet is a hot steaming pile of it.
Good stuff as always Dave, thanks for doing these trough the season. Who knows what performance we'll get today but it would be nice to stop the FFP avoidence gobshites making the play offs.. Up the R's
Can't really see us getting anything today apart from some fun in baiting Keogh. Sad to say I've more hope of Rotherham losing thus guaranteeing our safety. It would be nice to play Forest without any fear and give the young ones a proper try out.
I've read somewhere stats show they aren't good at defending high crosses from out wide. With Smith, Hemed, Freeman, Pawel BOS etc we ought to get a few, but then with our inury hit defence, so should they. Don't feel optimistic about the result.
I'd take a draw now, if only to put a spanner in the works of **** Scumpard and his gang of FFP cheating bottle-merchants
A draw for Rotherham would see us safe so that's the height of my ambition for us today, anything better will be a welcome bonus. An 89th minute winner would really top it off (again)...
