After a bright start we have been total dog ****e. Long ball punts up to Smith FFS!! Manning looks lost and we're being destroyed in central midfield. Ollie needs to do a lot at half time.
Need to vary things a bit...too much long ball and Smith not getting any change from their centre backs.....need to play through them and start pressing higher up the pitch....
Good first ten and then we switched off, no press of any sort and we gave the ball away too often. Furlong and Pawel are not working well together. The ref has missed far too much and I can see that any big decision he makes is not going our way. The elbow on Dr. Who was the same angle for him as the replay and I saw it from the original angle (and I am nearly pished). Bad first half: fantastic second!!!!!!!
Chill out peeps. We can't be brilliant every week. 0-0 at Derby after 45 with them looking dross too isn't the end of the world.
Even when he wins it nothing comes from it. We have some half decent players technically so play it on the floor ffs. Yep, he has looked good and the other CBs have done ok too. Smithies has looked dodgy as hell though!
