This weeks Championship sees us head away to Pride Park to face Derby in another 12:30 lunchtime kick off.

Johannes Hoff Thorup's side will look to build on last weekend's 4-1 win over Watford with another strong performance. After Saturday's victory, the Canaries currently sit 11th place in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Squad update
Gibbs - out for 10 weeks
Hernandez - out for 10 weeks
Barnes/Sorensen/Fassnacht targeting return after the international break
Springett out until Christmas

Positive news that Slimane trained with the team all week and should be available this weekend.

The Opposition
After two seasons in League One, the Rams are back in the second tier of English football after finishing as runners-up and earning promotion into the Championship last season. They've enjoyed a promising start to life back in the Championship and sit a place above Norwich in the table, winning three and losing three of their six league games so far this campaign. Paul Warne's side have victories over Middlesbrough, Cardiff City and Bristol City, with defeats coming against Blackburn Rovers, Watford and Sheffield United.

The Manager
Paul Warne

Norwich-born Paul Warne had spells as a player at Norfolk sides Great Yarmouth Town, Diss Town and Wroxham before enjoying a professional career with spells at the likes of Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United. Upon retirement in 2012, he joined the coaching team with the Millers and would eventually become manager at the club. He guided Rotherham to promotion from League One on three separate occasions. In September 2022, he left Rotherham for Derby and earned promotion from the third tier once again as Derby finished second in League One during the 2023/24 season.

Positive vibes!!!

ON THE BALL CITY!!!
