    What are you on about
Can you explain you don’t like aggressive players on the pitch or ones who aren’t whiter than white off it
If so you’d exclude pele and garrincha
    Maradona
    Or closer to home
Frank worthington Stan Bowles etc etc

He had lots of talents. I once worked with a bloke who supported Salernitana based not too far from Napoli. He went to watch Napol play when Maradona was there and said watching Maradona's ball juggling skills during the warm up was worth the admission alone.

Bremner, Jimmy Johnstone, Jim Baxter and others as well. What a team you could have.

Of course no City player has ever, not ever, got up to anything dodgy off the pitch. Have they Big Billy, Deano...?

Our best player is also our most aggressive. Honeyman is pretty much a walking booking most games but that’s why he’s so good given his size.

KLP has a nasty side too how else would someone at 5’7 score so many headers if he wasn’t aggressive.

Bully or be bullied simple as, Chazz is spot on.

There are people who set out to do it on and off the pitch , the bullies or the nasty ones , there are those who receive and give as part of the game who are the vast majority . I know there’s a fine line between genius and flawed temperament . I played football too so met all kinds I wouldn’t have the s**** as friends - would you?

I can admire the skills but don’t have to like the rest.

We're too nice, always have been. We'd throw a scurvy dog a bone. Palace, Peterborough spring to mind in recent times. No hopers who we've given a leg up.
Four defenders around Lawrence and he still scores. 'No after you Thomas. Do have a free shot.'
City need a bastard in charge who would steal a toffee apple off a kid. Not that I'd advocate doing such a thing.

I was released for being too nice, every player I played with who made it was a ****er on the pitch but nice off the pitch, in most cases anyway. Winning mentality breeds that side of a person, you either have it or you don’t. Of course there’s bullies off the pitch too but it doesn’t mean they aren’t top footballers

Fleming should’ve chopped their winger early doors too.

Saw it with Maguire against Burnley other day, player running through on goal at 1-0 and he runs behind him then pulls himself away. He seems to have forgotten everything he’s good at since he’s moved to United.

Very good Chazz if you can’t follow it I won’t attempt to explain, I set my standards in life, and on this basis they are higher or different to yours .

Ok just briefly, do you admire cheating , diving, influencing refs , Achilles tackles , long studs used deliberately , but excuse the guy who does these because he’s hugely talented ?

I can admire Rooney for what he appears to be achieving and his loyalty to the cause , also for his talents but the other sides of his game ? No because it’s not what I want to see on a pitch I’m old enough to have seen all those hard men including Harris and Hunter etc it was a different era . If Ashbee stopped a talent fine - put him out of the game ?
The difference is I waffle don’t I? you revert like a good number of others on here to sh*** or c*** because it’s easy
    Different standards as I said
