I snapped a tooth a couple of weeks ago.

4 visits to the mouth butcher.

    256 notes lighter.

    45 minutes root canal work.

Came away Wednesday feeling like I'd been kicked by a horse.

Ended up drinking thru a straw.

    Just sayin' like.

Had a root canal done in Nov/Dec - took 5 visits in total: from diagnosis to treatment.

Think it cost circa £59 in total.

    All power to the NHS.

How many shots on goal have we had in the last 5 games? It feels like we could be a lot more attacking given the players we have, but we never seem to force goalkeepers into making decent saves? Either we score, or we blaze wide/over. I know we've been playing counter attacking football but given our line up, could we do more?

Yes today we should have had more shots and made their keeper and defence work more how ever sometimes you come up against a decent side on their own pitch and the first thing you have to do is defend well which we didnt. They marked our wingers well which we depend on. Once they did that Campbell looked isolated, we also give the ball away far to easiy. Going on today s game we have to create more, shoot more and hold on to the ball better. Improvement all over the pitch needed.

Would like to see Evandro or Pugh playing in the hole behind Campbell. He is too isolated and needs someone to play off. Although Irvine ran his socks off today and won most headers we need an extra attacker to put more pressure on the defense. Bowen was forced too deep to be effective.

It sounded a bit of an anti-climax, didn't really lay a glove on Derby and Tom Huddlestone ran the show. It could have been different of cause if Turbo hadn't missed what sounded like an easy chance, but other than that we were 2nd best.

It is probably started to show now that the players that have had to play nearly every game are starting to feel the pace and lose a bit of form, and this is where Ehab's plan falls down, as not enough quality in the squad to keep it going..

Nevertheless, if we finish mid-table, then that is probably more than we ever expected.

P.S. Can see a change or two for Tuesday, Ridgewell and Pugh to start, and even bring Batty in to freshen things up.

Thought it would be a tough game for us, but it wasn't really. A poor, frustrating game. We seemed very flat, and never really seemed to get going, bit like v Blackburn.
TH's touch and passing was a joy to watch #thosewerethedays

Agreed. Derby’s approach was similar to Blackburn’s. Shut down Bowen. Similar outcome.

    End of debate? Optimistic Den.

I'm throwing Kingston Upon Hull's world famous battered herb and potato roundels into the mix as a name, on the grounds that it's a longer, more descriptive moniker, which gives a clear indication of location, tradition and content, whilst still being manageable to say whilst placing an order.

Eg: Can I have two Kingston Upon Hull's world famous battered herb and potato roundels, a bag of chips and a curry sauce please?

    Open.

Might struggle to break the Asian market mind, with that name.

Been quite funnie this, sense it could become the new-Norwich.

Just had a scan at the OED online, you to have to subscribe to see though:

First recorded use of patty (to OED’s knowledge) in using it, in the form we are discussing is:

1710 P. LambRoyal Cookery 75 Your Mushroom Patty..is proper for second Course.

Which, of course, is not an American source, therefore, despite patty being used in American English it was wrong to say that Balkan was wrong.
