I remember getting excited about playing Scunny. Sheff Wed n Utd in the 70s n 80s where off the scale.
Do you know that more goals are scored by the team defending the corner ( on the break ) than the team taking the corner. It does make you wonder why fans get excited when they get a corner.
.. fine performance lads ... congratulations... only a fcuk up of epic proportions could now see you missing out on a Wembley trip .. please don't ... as you might guess, I'm finding it rather difficult to feel sorry for the Rams ...
Great post and hope all turns out for the best TtoT it is amazing how a good game of footy can raise the spirits in us just for a short while aint't it? All the best.
I do know that City are useless at set pieces. Given how prevalent they are you would think they would work on them more in training. Besides the stupid short corner when we set up the Derby attack we had the Odubajo booking - nobody to pass to but there never is - he nearly got sent off later because of it. If you want to waste time it's easy enough to do it on the pitch. Just find a player in space and keep doing it. McGregor knows what to do at goal kicks. If we need a goal take McGregor wastes time by taking it from the nearest part of the goal area if we want to stop them scoring he walks to retrieve the ball and then walks to the furthest part of the goal area.
Tom Ince!!! Was a total cheating bastard today. Every tackle he dived and the Ref fell for it every time. He was also responsible for the clash between Odubajo and Jacky, shoved Dave in the back hard. Should of received at least a yellow for it.
To mince or not to mince, that is the question - well the little **** certainly minced around a lot and then cried like a baby - think he needs a bit of abuse on tuesday
To be fair. Moses could have took the throw in whenever he wanted. To Elmo or Abel. He was just time wasting.
We did that short corner twice and it was a **** up both times, it must be something they've worked on in training, but it didn't come off at all. Snodgrass actually put in a few decent corners yesterday, they should have just carried on with them. Still, I think we can let them off any minor hiccups yesterday.
fair enough there were people around but they were marked and there was no running into space or creating space
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but their fans started streaming out the ground when the second goal went in.
whenever derby attacked practically all our players got behind the ball quickly whenever we attacked we got players up in support I don't know why we have waited two years to do it after all other teams
I don't know whether this has already been put up but here are the highlights http://www.skysports.com/football/derby-vs-hull-city/report/355084
On the TV coverage the fans seemed to give up really early, they were only 2-0 down. I think they made a mistake not bringing in an experienced manager and going for the half-arsed route of having Redknapp sitting upstairs giving advice on the phone during matches, the fans seemed to know they'd had it
