A double win for a famous chippy to sell their product as well as their football club..Harry Ramsdown. <ok>
Talking of chippies it was a very sad day today, I went and got large haddock, chips and peas from Molly Malone’s only to be told that the shop had been sold to a Greek person, who’s turning it into a ****ing kebab shop from the end of March :headbang:

Agreed
This point deduction is bollocks tho
Break the rules and it should be relegation to the bottom division
Same for reading
Cannot believe reading told the EFL how many points to deduct, apparently it was 12-19 at first…**** it we’ll have 6 please

Update on Molly’s. Called into Sue Downs in Hedon the way home tonight, this one’s not run by Sue Downs thank god, ordered large haddock and chips - two days running - whilst moaning about Mollys going Greek. The guy there told me his brother had bought it for his son to run, this guy owns the Funky Fish chain so it’s not gonna be a kebab shop, but whether it’s ever as good as Mollys remains to be seen.

Is it still owned by that lass I forget her name? She opened it up late 80’s didn’t she? And no she’s not called molly

For Funky Fish, I can't say I've ever had a bad one, but I've certainly had better and bigger portions. Always clean and well presented though.
