We didn't lose against Rotherham.
It's fair to criticise some of the players (it's just the extent of which is debatable), but you yourself included both O'Donnell and Flint in your preferred lineup for both those matches yes? LJ has already said that he intends to make changes, so it'll be interesting to see what he does, but can you at least admit that he shouldn't be blamed for starting both against Wednesday, when even you would have? A little humility on your part wouldn't go amiss.
Yes, it hurts missing out on points that were so readily attainable, but instead of being too negative about how great it would have been had we won both, there needs to be a balanced view about how many points have be garnered as a whole. Middlesbrough fans were probably pretty disappointed not to take any points from us last season, but they ended up OK I'd say.
So far we've earned an average of just over 1.4 points a game, which extrapolates to between 65 and 66 points over a season, which would have been good enough for 9th place last season; which is decent - though just 7 games played isn't much to make sweeping statements from (we've already played some tricky matches though).
I think we have reason to hope/expect a bit more, and some improvements need to be made, but I genuinely think we're very close to being a team that can make waves in this division. After 60 minutes, Wednesday fans were calling for their manager to be sacked.
